- Power-Breakfast-Book
- Eric Slosser
-
- In the summer of '95, Apple had a little overheating problem
- with their PowerBooks. Our highly effective marketing and PR
- machine swung into action, and quickly contained the situation.
-
- While it is true that we weren't happy with the heat that
- they were putting out, it wasn't true that they were too hot.
- Not at all. You see, we needed them hotter.
-
- You see, market research has shown that high powered mobile
- computers were meeting only part of the needs of the busy
- professional.
-
- So using multiple LIon batteries, and a Teflon™ coated keyboard,
- we've created the first laptop capable of satisfying the other
- basic need of the traveling professional. The need for a hot
- breakfast.
-
- The PowerBook of the future will be able to produce a fresh-
- cooked waffle breakfast in under 7 minutes (assuming sea-level
- and fully charged batteries). An optional removable keyboard
- will allow access to the pancake/crepé surface (standard
- on French keyboards).
